I joined Clove in late 2023 as the first product designer, just after the team secured pre-seed funding. At that point, we had a pitch deck, a prototype, and a big vision — but no product.

Partnering closely with the founders, Anna and Sam, and the product team, I helped bring the vision to life and set the foundation for a platform that could become the go-to destinations for home cooks. My contributions spanned across product, brand, and growth, including:

• Leading product discovery and shaping our product strategy

• Defining and prioritizing our roadmap to align with growth goals

• Crafting our MVP brand — positioning, messaging, and visual identity

• Supporting recipe production and art direction in the kitchen

• Building our cross-platform design system and collaborating tightly with engineering

• Launching Clove beta on web, with a focus on SEO and performance

• Building and scaling our marketing site on Framer

• Supporting go-to-market efforts across email, social, and beyond

I left Clove in early 2025, right before launching the app on Apple and Android .

This was my first true 0–1 experience, and I’m incredibly proud of what we built together. Huge thanks to Anna and Sam for the trust and opportunity to grow into a leadership role.
